I joined the McLean School community in 2013. After teaching 6th grade for three years, I moved to 5th grade where I taught for another three years. During this time, I obtained my MEd in Educational leadership from Arizona State University, my alma mater, graduating in the Spring of 2018. My background in education spans a nearly 20-year period and there has not been a dull moment in all of the time! Throughout my tenure as an educator, I was always a passionate proponent of cultivating student leadership and student investment in the learning process. I am thrilled with my new role at McLean; Associate Director of Enrollment and Director of Ambassador Programs.. This role highlights my leadership qualities and offers a refreshing new challenge while also keeping me connected to the reason I became a teacher in the first place; the students. In my free time I enjoy paddleboarding, running, being outdoors, and spending time with family in Maine and Florida.
