I received my BA in Latin and English from Oberlin College and my MA in Classics (both Latin and Greek) from the University of Maryland. The Latin language and Roman culture are two of my greatest interests, and I am excited to share this passion with my students. My study of classics extends outside of the classroom as well, providing me with valuable hands-on experience that informs my teaching. In 2015, I participated in an archaeological dig near Rome, Italy, and in 2016, I spent six weeks in Greece with the American School for Classical Studies in Athens. Outside of school, I am an avid reader and writer, and I play baroque recorder with a local consort.
