My Story

I am thrilled to be part of the McLean School community after 25 years of fundraising, campaign management, and stakeholder engagement.

I have worked in independent schools, universities, museums, and civic organizations and I am excited to help to grow the culture of philanthropy at McLean!

Originally from the Boston area, I was fortunate to attend The Rivers School, where I developed a life-long love of learning and a deep-seated passion for philanthropy and creating change.

Recently,  I completed the $34M campaign to build the Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum, the Jewish Museum of the Nation’s Capital. Earlier in my career, I led Gesher Jewish Day School’s $12M campaign to build a state-of the art school in Northern Virginia.

I spent four years in Melbourne, Australia where I initiated the Holocaust Museum’s $10M Capital Campaign and served as director of the Holocaust Centre’s $10M Foundation. I have  traveled extensively working on national and international campaigns for the George Washington University and the University of Melbourne.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Union College, I received a Master in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Jewish Communal Service from Gratz College. I always wanted to live in the DC area and was recruited to help run the Community Campaign for the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington upon graduation.

In my spare time, I can be found at the ballet studio cheering on my daughter, Liv. I enjoy the arts and cultural activities, spending time with friends and family and my feisty Yorkie.
