My educational journey has been diverse and enriching, and I am committed to continuous learning and growth. After graduating from McLean in 2016, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from Towson University. I started my teaching career at the National Presbyterian School as a Teaching Associate, gaining valuable experience in a different educational setting. This experience led me back to McLean in 2022, where I am now a teacher in Lower School. My diverse educational background has given me a unique perspective and a comprehensive understanding of different learning needs. I have also demonstrated my commitment to professional development and training in executive function skills for elementary-age strategies, responsive classrooms, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). I have further enriched my knowledge through courses in Early Childhood Development: Global Strategies for Implementation through Harvard University and American Education Reform: History, Policy, Practice through the University of Pennsylvania. I am pursuing my Master’s in International Education, focusing on International Policy & Organizations at George Washington University, to deepen my understanding and contribute to the field of education.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, discovering new restaurants, and playing basketball, among other things. I make time for new experiences and always seek something to get me out of my comfort zone.
