I am excited to be part of the McLean community. Prior to joining McLean, I taught with MCPS as a high school teacher. I am originally from Michigan and moved to Virginia two years ago. I graduated with a BA from Gallaudet University.
When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with friends and family. I enjoy traveling, biking, and playing sports. Growing up, I played multiple sports, but basketball has always been my favorite. I played basketball and softball during my collegiate years. I am also a huge fan of the University of Michigan, go blue!
I have a passion for teaching and my goal at McLean is to have my students fall in love with American Sign Language.
