I am dedicated and passionate about supporting students’ emotional, social, and academic well-being. I received my BA in Child Development from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland. I have been working as a school counselor for 15 years. I believe in creating a safe and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their concerns and seeking guidance. Some recent training I have received include SPACE in Schools (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), Defusing Anxiety and Anger in Schools, and Responsive Classroom.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and our Cockapoo, Hazel. I love puzzles, traveling, and reading.
