From a young age, I have loved going to school and knew I wanted to become a teacher. I attended Fordham University in New York, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education. Prior to teaching at McLean School, I taught in Title 1 New York City schools for six years. I joined the McLean community in 2020 and am very happy to be part of the Lower School team. I love having meaningful conversations with our students, who are becoming more independent yet curious and eager to learn! My favorite trainings have been on executive functioning with Sara Ward as well as an Ecology for Educators training at the Bronx Zoo through the NYC Department of Education.
Outside of the classroom, I love to travel, read, spend time with friends and family, play piano, and attend musical theater productions. I am also a huge animal lover and fur mom to a sweet dog, Phoebe, and an adorable rabbit, Lucy.
