I completed my undergraduate degree at The University of Texas at Dallas with a BS in Government and Politics, and later earned my JD from Georgetown University Law Center. I was a staff attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement before starting my family. Down the road I developed an interest in nursing and decided to go back to school once again. I earned a BS in Nursing from The University of Maryland in 2017 and have worked with children ever since. I was a nurse at Children’s National Hospital in DC for 6 years, most recently in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. I am excited to be the Health Room Nurse for the Lower School. McLean has a special place in my heart, as my son Simon started school here in 6th grade and is now a graduating senior. Caring for children is my passion and I look forward to getting to know the students and their families, as well as the faculty and staff. When I’m not working I enjoy reading, cooking, travelig with friends and family, and getting outdoors with my dog to explore the DMV and all it has to offer.
